Why use a complex?

The Science
Ascorbic acid – vitamin C's purest form – is hard to stabilise in an effective formula: when it comes into contact with heat, light, air and water, it starts to oxidise and form dehydroascorbic acid, which is not the active form of the molecule, meaning potency and antioxidant abilities have been compromised. Our upgraded complex stabilises the formula, slowing the oxidation rate right down and making it less likely to destruct.
